US Customs Changes Extended to 20 January 2027

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has officially announced a 90-day extension to the new international mail customs requirements, originally scheduled for 22 October 2026.

What does this mean for you?

For the next 90 days, it’s business as usual at Inhouse Pharmacy.

  • You can continue placing orders under the current shipping and import requirements.
  • We will continue accepting and dispatching eligible orders to the United States.
  • Existing customs entry procedures will remain unchanged during this extension.
  • We are working closely with our shipping and customs partners to prepare for the upcoming changes.

What happens after 20 January 2027?

From 20 January 2027, new electronic customs declaration requirements are scheduled to become mandatory for affected international mail shipments entering the United States.

These changes will provide US Customs and the FDA with more detailed shipment information, potentially resulting in closer screening of imported medications.

While the exact impact on individual shipments remains uncertain, we expect to continue shipping eligible medications to our US customers and will make any necessary adjustments to comply with the new procedures.

We will continue monitoring developments and keeping you informed of any changes that may affect your orders.

For now, it’s business as usual, and we look forward to continuing to serve you!

Thank you for your continued trust and support.
